The interchange of Interstate 4 (I-4) and Apopka-Vineland Road (State Road (S.R.) 535) is a heavily traveled gateway to theme parks, shopping, and resorts. Improvements consist of two Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects combined in a single, design-build contract.
Construction began fall 2023 and is expected to reach completion in 2026. The design for this project is ongoing. The final configuration of the interchange will be very similar to what is shown in the documents and handouts below, but small refinements are anticipated. This page will be updated as more information becomes available.
