National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW) is an annual spring campaign held at the start of construction season to encourage safe driving through highway work zones.

But the simplest and most common way to support National Work Zone Awareness Week is to participate in Go Orange Day on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Go Orange Day is an important time to show your support for roadway safety, especially to the families of victims who have lost their lives in work zones.
