Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing rest area and ramp closures along Interstate 4 (I-4) in Seminole County during the overnight hours of Monday, August 25.
The closures are scheduled to begin as early as 10 p.m. Monday and continue until 5 a.m. Tuesday. These closures are necessary for road work on the ramps.
Motorists can expect the following overnight ramp closures:
- Westbound I-4 Seminole County rest area facility just east of State Road (S.R.) 434
- Westbound I-4 exit and entrance ramps at the Seminole County rest area
- Eastbound I-4 exit ramp to S.R. 436, Exit 92
Note: Ramps will not close simultaneously. Each closure will occur one at a time.
See detour map and information below.

Motorists traveling on eastbound I-4 who wish to access S.R. 436 will continue east and exit at S.R. 434 (Exit 94), staying in the left lane and turning left onto westbound S.R. 434. Motorists will continue west on S.R. 434 and turn left onto southbound Montgomery Road, proceeding to S.R. 436.
