ATTENTION DRIVERS: Westbound I-4 Entrance Ramp from U.S. 17-92 Closing Overnight June 25-27

Motorists should be advised that a full closure of the westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) entrance ramp from U.S. 17-92 in Seminole County is scheduled overnight for three consecutive nights starting on Tuesday, June 25 to Thursday, June 27. The ramp will close as soon as 10 p.m. each night and reopen by 6 a.m. each morning, concluding early June 28.

This closure is necessary for guardrail installation, vegetation removal, and wall removal and is part of the I-4 Beyond the Ultimate project at the I-4 and U.S. 17-92 interchange.

Motorists on U.S. 17-92/Seminole Boulevard are directed to use southbound County Road (C.R.) 15/Monroe Road and turn right on State Road (S.R.) 46, then proceed west to the westbound I-4 entrance.

The I-4 and U.S. 17-92 interchange improvements project in Seminole County is expected to increase safety by improving sight distance for motorists, upgrading crosswalks for pedestrians and bicyclists, and reducing the speed limit from 50 mph to 35 mph.

Construction started in fall 2023 and is expected to be complete by late 2024.
