Map for Traffic Pacing Operation
Traffic Pacing Operations on EB I-4 Scheduled for May 12–14

Multiple traffic pacing operations are scheduled to occur on eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) from Princeton Street to E.E. Williamson Road between midnight and 5 a.m. on May 12–14.

During the operations, eastbound I-4 entrance ramps between these limits will be temporarily blocked by law enforcement officers. Temporary ramp closures include the eastbound I-4 entrances from Princeton Street, Fairbanks Avenue, Lee Road (State Road 423), Maitland Boulevard (S.R. 414), S.R. 436, and S.R. 434.

View or download an online handout of the temporary ramp closures.

As the traffic pacing operation passes each interchange, law enforcement officers will reopen the entrance ramp to allow motorists to enter I-4 and join the slow roll. Each traffic pacing operation will create a 30-minute window for crews to place support beams for the new E.E. Williamson Road overpass. Single lane closures on I-4 under E.E. Williamson Road may occur in advance, during and after the traffic pacing operations.

Multiple pacing operations are scheduled to occur every night between May 12 and 14. Expect about half hour delays on eastbound I-4 between Princeton Street and EE Williamson Road.
