The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will close one lane of traffic on E.E. Williamson Road over Interstate 4 (I-4) nightly between October 13-17 and October 20-24. The lane closures are scheduled from 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
These closures are necessary to install a temporary barrier wall and re-stripe the roadway to allow crews to prepare for the reconstruction of the E.E. Williamson Road overpass.
Flaggers will be present during these times to allow both directions of traffic to alternate use of the open lane. The overpass will be constructed in phases to maintain both eastbound and westbound access. At all times during construction, driveway and property access will be maintained.
