ATTENTION DRIVERS: Overnight Closures of the Eastbound I-4 Entrance Ramp from Southbound Apopka-Vineland Road November 3 and 4

Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will close the eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) entrance ramp from southbound Apopka-Vineland Road (State Road (S.R.) 535) overnight on Tuesday, November 3, and Wednesday, November 4. The closures will begin as early as 10 p.m. each night and are expected to end by 6 a.m. the following morning, with the final closure ending the morning of Thursday, November 5.

These closures are necessary for paving and striping work, and to implement a traffic shift on eastbound I-4.

NOTE: If this work is not completed as scheduled, the same closure and detour will occur during the same hours on the night of Thursday, November 5.

See detour information and map below.

Eastbound I-4 entrance ramp from southbound Apopka-Vineland Road detour:

From southbound Apopka-Vineland Road, motorists will continue south past the I-4 interchange, then turn right onto westbound World Center Drive (S.R. 536). From there, motorists will take the entrance ramp on the right to eastbound I-4.

FDOT advises motorists to follow all pavement markings and posted detour signs. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
