The northbound and southbound directions of Cherry Laurel Drive between eastbound and westbound County Road (C.R.) 46A (H.E. Thomas Jr. Parkway) closed Monday, January 8. A detour is in place for eastbound traffic on C.R. 46A to make a U-turn; motorists are advised to make a left turn after passing the 7-Eleven gas station. The closure is anticipated to remain in place until as late as early March. Construction crews will be completing storm drainage work.
Traffic coming from the residential communities will be unable to use Cherry Laurel Drive to turn eastbound on C.R. 46A. A “right-turn only” sign will be in place for residential community traffic to turn from Cherry Laurel Drive to westbound C.R. 46A.
