Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement nightly ramp closures at the Interstate 4 (I-4) and Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) interchange as follows:
- Sunday, August 2 – Tuesday, August 4: Eastbound I-4 exit ramp to Sand Lake Road (Exit 74A) closed nightly.
- Wednesday, August 5, and Thursday, August 6: Eastbound I-4 entrance ramp from Sand Lake Road closed both nights.
Closures will begin as early as 10 p.m. each night and are expected to end by 6 a.m. the following morning, with the final closure ending the morning of Friday, August 7.
These closures are necessary for paving work on the ramps as part of the ongoing improvements to the I-4 and Sand Lake Road interchange.
See detour information and map below.
