Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing overnight Interstate 4 (I-4) off-ramp closures at State Road (S.R.) 434 and S.R. 436 on the nights of Monday, August 4, through Thursday, August 7, for road work on the ramps. The closures will begin as early as 10 p.m. each night and are expected to reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning, with the last closure opening on the morning of Friday, August 8.

Motorists can expect the following overnight closures on these dates:

• Monday night, August 4 – eastbound I-4 exit ramp to S.R. 436, Exit 92
• Tuesday night, August 5 – eastbound I-4 exit ramp to S.R. 434, Exit 94
• Wednesday night, August 6 – westbound I-4 exit ramp to S.R. 434, Exit 94
• Thursday night, August 7 – westbound I-4 exit ramp to S.R. 436, Exit 92

Detour Information for August 4 Overnight Closure

Motorists traveling on eastbound I-4 who wish to access S.R. 436 (Exit 92) will continue east and exit at S.R. 434 (Exit 94), staying in the left lane and turning left onto westbound S.R. 434. From there, drivers will continue west on S.R. 434 and turn left onto southbound Montgomery Road and proceed to S.R. 436.

Detour Information for August 5 Overnight Closure

Motorists traveling on eastbound I-4 who wish to access S.R. 434 (Exit 94) will exit early to S.R. 436 (Exit 92), staying in the left lane and turning left onto westbound S.R. 436. From there, continue west and turn right onto northbound Montgomery Road and proceed to S.R. 434.

Detour Information for August 6 Overnight Closure

Motorists traveling on westbound I-4 who wish to access S.R. 434 (Exit 94) will continue west on I-4 and exit at S.R. 436 (Exit 92), staying in the left lane onto eastbound S.R. 436. While turning towards eastbound S.R. 436, motorists will turn left onto the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp. Drivers will continue eastbound on I-4 and take Exit 94 to access S.R. 434.

Detour Information for August 7 Overnight Closure

Motorists traveling on westbound I-4 who wish to access S.R. 436 will continue west on I-4 and take Exit 90B-A to Maitland Boulevard (S.R. 414)/Lake Destiny Road, keeping left to Maitland Boulevard, then merging right onto west Maitland Boulevard (Exit 90B). From there, drivers will continue west on Maitland Boulevard and exit to Keller Road, staying in the left lane onto southbound Keller Road. While turning towards southbound Keller Road, motorists should stay to the left to turn onto eastbound Maitland Boulevard, then keep left to proceed onto eastbound I-4. Drivers will continue east on I-4, then take Exit 92 to access S.R. 436.

FDOT advises motorists to follow all posted detour signs. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
