Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will close the westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) exit ramp to Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) at Exit 74A, and the loop ramp from westbound Sand Lake Road to Turkey Lake Road, nightly from Monday, November 2, through Wednesday, November 4. The closures will begin as early as 10 p.m. each night and are expected to end by 6 a.m. the following morning, with the final closure ending the morning of Thursday, November 5.

These closures are necessary for paving, sign structure, and lighting work as part of the improvements to the I-4 and Sand Lake Road interchange.

Detour for Westbound I-4 Exit Ramp to Sand Lake Road (Exit 74A)

Motorists traveling westbound on I-4 who wish to access Sand Lake Road should take Exit 74B onto northbound Adventure Way. From there, motorists can either:

• Turn left onto westbound Hollywood Way, then turn left again onto southbound Turkey Lake Road and proceed to Sand Lake Road west of I-4.
• Turn right onto eastbound Hollywood Way, then turn right again onto southbound Universal Boulevard and proceed to Sand Lake Road east of I-4.

Detour for Loop Ramp from Westbound Sand Lake Road to Turkey Lake Road

Motorists traveling westbound on Sand Lake Road who wish to access southbound Turkey Lake Road should take the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp on the right before the I-4 overpass. From eastbound I-4, take exit 75A to Universal Boulevard and turn left onto Universal Boulevard. From there, turn left onto westbound Hollywood Way, then left again onto southbound Turkey Lake Road.
